Strood man faces court over gun threat to boys in alley

A Strood man who is alleged to have threatened three young boys with an air rifle faces court next month. Kent Police was called after 3pm on August 21 to reports two 11 year old boys and a 10 year old boy were threatened with the firearm in an alleyway leading to Knight Road in Strood. Chedi Eneh, 19, previously of Seagull Road, Strood, was arrested and charged with possession of an air weapon with intent to cause fear of violence. He has been bailed to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on October 22.
